FlixBus has already teamed up with six bus operators and has ambitious plans to connect 33 cities across Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala. With over 200 new connections in South India, FlixBus India aims to serve a total of 101 cities and 215 stops across the country.
To celebrate its Bengaluru launch, FlixBus is offering a special promotional fare of just Rs 99 on the newly launched routes. This deal is available for bookings made between September 3 and September 15, with travel dates from September 10 to October 6.
The launch event saw Karnataka’s Commerce & Industries Minister MB Patil, along with global FlixBus leaders Max Zeumer and Daniel Krauss, in attendance. Patil expressed his support, saying, “We welcome FlixBus as a partner in Karnataka’s journey toward sustainability.”
“We’re excited to welcome FlixBus as they invest in Karnataka and support our sustainability goals,” said Minister Patil. Surya Khurana, Managing Director of FlixBus India, added, “Following our success in North India, expanding to the South is the next step in revolutionizing intercity travel,” as quoted to Money control.
