Hyundai is all set to unveil the highly anticipated facelift of its popular Creta model, with the grand reveal scheduled for January 16, 2024, in India.
The South Korean automaker plans to showcase the car first, followed by the official launch a few weeks later, along with the announcement of prices, as reported by Motorbeam. The final testing phase is currently underway, and the latest prototype has given us a glimpse of some intriguing details.
Having said that, a Twitter handle @gohilnikhil captured the vehicle testing on the roads of Shimla.

In terms of styling, Hyundai is making significant changes to align the new facelift with the latest design DNA seen in the recent Hyundai Santa Fe and Exter models. The updated Creta will feature squarish details, including H-shaped elements like tail lights and LED DRLs. A recent spy shot has unveiled a new connected tail light, with an LED bar on the tailgate linking the two lights—a design trend seen in Hyundai’s other models like the Venue facelift, Verna, Kia Sonet, and Seltos facelift.
Among the exterior modifications are a fresh parametric grille design, new LED headlights, a redesigned tailgate, and updated front and rear bumpers. The new diamond-cut alloy wheel design boasts intricate detailing, and a wider and functional new footstep aims to enhance the ease of entry and exit, especially for the elderly and children.
Inside the car, expect a revamped dashboard featuring a dual-screen setup and a high-resolution instrument cluster borrowed from the Alcazar model. Exciting new features include Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, a dashcam, sunblinds, a premium audio system, and more.
The new Hyundai Creta facelift will offer a variety of engine options, including a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine, with both automatic and manual transmission choices.
