Scores of protesters, who belong to various districts of western Uttar Pradesh and are chiefly members of the Bharatiya Kisan Union's Bhanu and Lok Shakti factions, are camping at the Noida-Delhi border amid heavy deployment of police personnel.

Farmers protests entered Day 12 as agitators continued to sit in and demonstrate on Chilla border in Noida and Singhu in Delhi-Haryana border.

The two were arrested from the Surajpur police station area in connection with a case lodged under the UP Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, a police spokesperson said.
