According to a report by the International Labour Organisation and Asian Development Bank, 41 lakh jobs were lost in the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Of this, as per the Centre's calculation, about Rs 97,000 crore is on account of GST implementation and the rest Rs 1.38 lakh crore is due to the impact of COVID-19 on states' revenues.

Delhi recorded its biggest single-day jump of 4,321 fresh COVID-19 cases on Saturday, taking the city’s tally to over 2.14 lakh, authorities said. It was for the fourth day in a row that over 4,000 fresh cases were recorded in Delhi.
