The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Kerala will organise ‘TiEcon Kerala 2012’, a two-day professional networking conference of entrepreneurs here on October 25 and 26. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the function.
TiE Kerala members told reporters here on Tuesday that the main aim of the conference is to help budding entrepreneurs through guidance and assistance from successful and experienced entrepreneurs and professionals.
Around thousand delegates are expected to take part in the conference. “Experienced entrepreneurs will take sessions related to tourism and hospitality, wellness and healthcare, women entrepreneurship, education and manufacturing, agriculture and food processing. “The conference will help entrepreneurs to become better informed and better connected with other entrepreneurs,” said TiE Kerala president John K Paul.
Advisor to the Prime Minister on Public Information Infrastructure and Innovations, Sam Pitroda, Inventus Capital Partners MD Kanwal Rekhi, former TechSpan CEO and chairman Arjun Malhotra, entrepreneur and strategy consultant Sramana Mitra, sequoia capital senior advisor R Ramaraj, DES group of companies, Singapore, CEO Ajith Menon, Britannia Managing Director Vinita Bali and TVS Capital Funds Limited chairman and MD Gopal Srinivasan will take sessions at the conference.
